[Reseña] Exposició els Ballets Russos

This past week, we visited the expo "Diaghlev's Ballets Russes 1909-1929", this expo show more than 200 objects.
Visitors can see pieces of costumes, for choreography, designs, posters, programs, photographs and documentary films of avant-garde artists of the likes of Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso and George Braque, musicians like Igor Stravinsky, Maurice Ravel and Manuel de Falla, and dancers as Michel Fokine renowned, Nijinksy Vaslav, Anna Pavlova, and Leonide Massine.
From all of these contributions is made a tour of the twenty years of the company's Ballets Russes (1909-1929) and reviewed the entrepreneur Serge Diaghilev, a key to understanding the history of dance, art and twentieth-century music.

The ballet Russes born in 1909, Paris with a selection of the best dancers of the Imperial Ballet of the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg. In 1911 the Imperial Ballet become independent and survive for a short time after the death of its founder, in 1929. The company travels to the best theaters of the time and also reaches Madrid and Barcelona.
