Tacita Dean

Tacita Dean is a British artist; she is well-known for her work on film. She performs a different kind of films that are shown in cinemas. Her work is based on 16mm films, she works alone in a private room, where she can act calmly and think on her ideas.

Tacita’s work includes pictures, draws and sound, all of them mixed, performing her kind of poetic films. Moreover, in her films randomness takes a very important part playing with lots of pictures and her narrative about live. She wants to show how is the natural architecture transformed by the camera’s lends, among other things.

I think Tacita Dean is a woman with much to offer, and she transforms it, or puts her personality and ideas in all her films, in conclusion, in all her works. She makes me feel like an artist and causes on me that feeling which want to forward in my artist carrer.
